"We have an opportunity now to have cleaner data. That is so important for us when we are going to funders to be able to say that we have reliable data to show: this is what the community ministry impact is in our Metro Louisville area - that’s huge."

Central Louisville Community Ministries (CLCM) is one of the 13 Community Ministries that make up the
Association of Community Ministries and that support the Metro Louisville area with Emergency
Assistance programs designed to meet basic needs for our neighbors. When I was brand new as the
Executive Director here, about 5 years ago, I was charged with updating our ancient database from the
1980s. I started looking for a database solution.
Somebody talked to me about ClientTrack and that is how I met Kazim with Justify Solutions. He came
and did a demo for us. Ultimately, not only was I sold on ClientTrack, but the more I looked at what it
could do, the more it became clear to me that all of the community ministries needed to be able to tell a
unified data story. Over the last several years, we have been able to come a long way towards making
that a reality for the Association of Community Ministries.
Kazim built onto another organization’s database for us. That required quite a bit of customization. We
talked a lot about a system based on services versus a system based on program enrollments. We
started our program build with services and now we are now building into programs. Having flexibility
and someone with the know-how across the system to get us started and find ways to use and build out
the system for other things has been helpful.
The training has also been very helpful. Kazim and Justify Solutions have always been there to provide
expertise to the Ministries so that they can work effectively with ClientTrack. I have learned a lot
through the process, and I feel much more comfortable doing data analysis.
We are so much closer to having a unified data story with the ability to pull a master report and know,
this is all the data from last fiscal year for all the agencies and it is accurate. We have an opportunity
now to have cleaner data. That is so important for us when we are going to funders to be able to say
that we have reliable data to show: this is what the community ministry impact is in our Metro Louisville
area - that’s huge.

When I started out, I just needed a database for my own agency. It became clear that what we needed
was to have continuity across the Association.

Maria Koerner
Assistant Director (former)
Kentucky Office of Refugees (KOR)

"When Justify Solutions came into our office, we went from using three databases to consolidating to one, streamlining our reports."

I have worked with Justify Solutions for over eight years. In that time, Justify Solutions has been a tremendous asset for the Kentucky Office of Refugees. We have used Justify Solutions to keep improving and enhancing the database, making the database and our data management and reporting more efficient. It has been a positive experience!
When I first started at the Kentucky Office of Refugees, everything was written on paper. We started with two databases and then it went to three databases. It was very inefficient. We had the ClientTrack database, but we couldn’t use it because it didn’t do what we needed it to do.
One thing that we had a problem with that Justify Solutions was able to solve was our reporting process for the annual federal grant reporting - the ORR-5. New fields kept getting added and it was overwhelming. Justify Solutions figured out how to make an overwhelming report easier by adding a query into our database. Knowing how to analyze it in a quicker way than any of us could, Kazim helped us get the answers we needed and fast. Every time I talked to Justify Solutions, I felt better about the reports. Kazim simplified these complex reports with quick edits in the software that he managed for us.

The reporting requirements are constantly evolving. We have learned in meeting with other states that Kentucky is in a much better position to adapt to those changes because of the work with Justify Solutions. Other states are not able to manage and report the data to the Office of Refugee and Resettlement (ORR) the way Kentucky reports.
Justify Solutions is open to finding ways to make the database more efficient for the users. We set deadlines that Justify Solutions meets to get things we need done when we need it. Kazim, the owner, is wonderful! He is responsive to requests and schedules regular meetings. I enjoy working on projects with him.
